Woven White Coat

Weaving medicine, life and purpose.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

A space for women physicians in training to feel seen, supported, encouraged and less alone.

Why We Exist

The most important decisions of our lives are often made during the busiest years of our training.

  • Who we love.
  • Where we live.
  • Whether we have children.
  • How we define success.
  • What we are willing to sacrifice.
  • What we refuse to lose.

Yet many of these conversations happen quietly while we continue showing up every day in our white coats.

Medicine teaches us how to care for others, but it does not always teach us how to navigate our own lives. There is no curriculum for relationships. No lecture on confidence. No rotation on purpose, family, fertility, friendship, identity, or the countless choices that shape who we become.

Woven White Coat was created to bring those conversations into the light.

Through honest stories, meaningful conversations and mentorship from women who have walked similar paths, we hope to replace isolation with connection, uncertainty with perspective and self-doubt with confidence.

We are not here to tell women what choices to make.

We are here to remind them that there is no single blueprint for a meaningful life in medicine.

Every journey is different. Every choice is personal. Every path is valid.

Because while every journey is different, no woman should have to navigate it alone.

And sometimes the most powerful words we can hear are: “I’ve been where you are.”

A Message From the Founder

I created Woven White Coat because I have seen how much strength women physicians carry — and how often they carry it quietly.

In my conversations with women in training, I share my stories, my lessons, my mistakes and the choices that shaped my life and career. I remind them that they are allowed to want success, love, family, purpose, independence, leadership, peace, or something entirely their own.

We talk about imposter syndrome. We talk about proving ourselves. We talk about the challenges women physicians face without making this about blame or division.

It is about embracing our uniqueness, recognizing our strength, overcoming obstacles and supporting one another as we weave together the many parts of our lives.

My hope is that every woman who comes here feels seen, encouraged and reminded:

You are not alone.
